1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.

2. Services

SoleMenders provides footwear repair and restoration services as described on our website. While we strive for the highest quality, you acknowledge that the repair of used and worn items may involve inherent risks. We cannot guarantee that every item can be repaired to its original, new condition. The specific outcome of a repair can depend on the initial condition of the item.

3. Quotes & Payment

All quotes are provided based on the images and descriptions you submit. We reserve the right to amend the quote upon physical inspection of the item if its condition is found to be different from what was represented. No work will commence until you have approved the final quote. Full payment is required before the repaired item is shipped back to you.

4. Shipping & Risk of Loss

SoleMenders provides a prepaid shipping label for you to send items to us. While we take all reasonable care, we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to our workshop. The risk of loss passes to SoleMenders only upon our receipt and inspection of the item. For return shipping, we use reputable carriers and provide tracking. The risk of loss passes back to you once the item is dispatched from our workshop.

5. Service Warranty

We provide a 6-month warranty on the specific craftsmanship of our repairs. This warranty covers defects in our workmanship or the materials we used. It does not cover new damage, normal wear and tear, or issues unrelated to the specific repair we performed. Our liability under this warranty is limited to re-performing the service at no cost to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service. SoleMenders is not liable for any sentimental value or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. By sending your items to us, you agree that their value, for the purpose of any claim, does not exceed the standard replacement value of a similar used item.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our primary workshop is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
